ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION

passes, at least, a credit level in 5 subjects
(including English language, mathematics, and science) in GCE Ordinary level and 3
passes at the Advance level of the GCE. Two of the advance level passes must be
grade ‘D’ or better. A pass in general paper must be obtained.

passes in Core English, Core Mathematics,
Core Science and three (3) elective subjects, with an aggregate of 24 or better in the
WAEC Senior Secondary Certificate Examination.

a. Age: at least 25 years
b. The applicant must also pass the Mature Students Entrance Examination
conducted by the Faculty.

a certificate from a recognized institution or any
accredited field e.g. HND, DBS, etc.

foreign students may be considered for admission if they hold
qualifications equivalent to those mentioned above. However, they must show
evidence of proficiency in English.

ATTENDANCE
Ministerial Bible College has a vision of training students to become good stewards of
time, and to achieve this, a student is expected to be present and punctual for ALL
classes

The student shall be required to carry a work load of 12 credits per semester

Grading System

Student performance in a course shall be graded as follows:

SEMINARS, OUTREACHES AND WORKSHOPS

Periodic outreach programs, workshops and seminars will be conducted to equip students in their areas of calling.

Graduates are urged to go back to the churches and organizations that sponsored or facilitated their studies after the course. They also get to work with other churches, Para-church 16 | P a g e organizations, non-governmental institutions and bible schools and colleges. Others continue their studies and come out as academics working in higher institutions. For those who enroll out of desire to understand Christian theology, the competition of the programme fulfills their quest. Yet for others, the programme serves as a way of obtaining certificate or diploma that propels them into other career disciplines.

By engaging in a programme of study at Ministerial Bible College, learners will:  Be prepared to work effectively, contributing to their Christ-centered career field;  Understand the spiritual and intellectual framework of the Christian worldview;  Comprehend that truth is an absolute, discernible, provable commodity;  Be prepared to respond to the spiritual, philosophical, moral and intellectual challenges of their times from a well-reasoned biblical perspective;

 Be prepared to articulate the core spiritual, philosophical and societal principles of liberty;  Understand the essentials of living in and preserving a free society;  Be exposed to the well-rounded ideal of education.

REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION

General College Requirements The general requirements for the completion of the programmes of the College include: a. Evidence of a regular enrollment in a particular programme b. Discharge of all obligations owed to the College c. Pass in all college required courses d. Satisfactory performance in the appropriate College examinations
A student shall be deemed to have: a. Satisfied all general College requirements b. Accumulated a minimum of 96 credit hours with a minimum of 1.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average c. Done a practical work with a church (in and out) and College field work for not less than 24 weeks
